A Scorers Course will be held on the 24th and 25th May 2013 in Potchefstroom.

Everyone who would like to participate on the course could please register before WEDNESDAY the 22nd May 2013.

Manana Primary School Reclaims Their Winners Trophy In Senwes Spinners Final

Phakela Primary School won the toss and decided to bat first. They achieved 77 runs in their allotted 20 overs. Kagiso Manabela making 18 runs of 27 balls was the top scorer for his team. Martins Lethoko taking 2 wickets for the loss of 10 runs in 2 overs was the best batsman for Manana Primary School.

Senwes Spinners Final Set To Be Very Exciting

The 7th annual Senwes Spinners tournament took place from 20 – 24 March 2013. 40 Matches were played amongst 10 schools. The final of the tournament will take place on Saturday 04 May 2013 at Senwes Park. The top two schools in the final will be Manana (Lichtenburg) and Phakela (Ottosdal). Manana is also the defending champions from last year. The winning team will receive a trophy and medals and also R5 000.00 cash for the school. The runners-up receive medals and R2 500.00 for their school.

Local Cricket Hero Selected For National Franchise Colts XI Team

North West Cricket is extremely proud of Johannes Diseko, who was part of the Lions Franchise U/23 team that participated in the recent Colts week tournament against all the Franchises in Potchefstroom and got selected for the Franchise Colts XI team to participate in the Future Cup tournament. The Future Cup is a T20 triangular tournament where the Colts played against the SA Rural XI and the SA USSA (University) XI in double header matches in Kimberley from 18 – 21 April 2013. Johannes is one of two players from the Lions Franchise team that were selected for the national team.

NOORDWES KLUBKRIEKET –  SENWES PREMIERLIGA

Saterdag, 10 November 2012, het die sesde rondte van die Noordwes Premier A-50 beurt klubliga plaasgevind.  Morné Steyn (104*) van Potch Dorp krieket klub en Ludwig Roos (104*), van NWU Pukke krieket klub was die beste kolwers vir die naweek.  Richie Berrington (5/27), Tshepo Motaung (5/75) en  Dwaine Fielding (5/45) almal spelers van Potch Dorp krieket klub was die beste boulers gewees.
